Pa Ruben Fasonranti who is the leader of the group announced Omisore’s suspension during their monthly meeting in Akure, Onodo state.

Meanwhile, Omisore, clarified the rumours going round over his inability to get an All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial ticket in the 2019 general elections. Omisore was said to have negotiated with the APC to get a senatorial ticket before the re-run governorship election in the state. A condition he reportedly gave the ruling party before openly supporting the party’s candidate during the election, Gboyega Oyetola.

Omisore said his alliance with the APC was not about negotiations for political offices. He said the negotiation with the ruling party, centered on “good governance, prompt payment of workers salaries and other things that can make life meaningful for the entire people of Osun state.”
