The Emir of Katsina, Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir, on Friday called President Muhammadu Buhari as a godly man, while guaranteeing him of 100% support from the general population of the state in his offer for a second term in office.
The Emir talking in his castle when the President went to sympathize with him and the general population of the state over the ongoing rainstorm, which took no less than 11 lives and property said to be worth N2.3bn in the state.
The imperial father stated that Buhari kept up clean records when he was military representative, head of state and when he was Chairman of the Petroleum Trust Fund.
He included, “President Buhari is a decent leader who truly cares about people, that is the reason individuals cherish you. You went to numerous parts of the nation to feel for casualties of different challenges. That is estimable.”
The President, who said he was in Katsina to sympathize with those affected, guaranteed that the Federal Government would help casualties of the rainstorm. He, nonetheless, brought up that the Federal Government would send its own group to survey the harm, after which the help would take after.
