Hon. Titus Zam sir, you were the Special Adviser to Governor Samuel Ortom on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and the Chairman of the State Joint Account Committee (JAAC) which is domiciled under your office.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) recently said and I quote, “Between December 20, 2017 and April 6, 2018, the Joint Account Allocation Committee (JAAC) has been remitting N20million to the account of Al-Tershaku Global Security Limited allegedly owned by Tershaku. JAAC posted N80million to this account as at the time of Tershaku’s arrest.”
As you are aware, the said recipient of those monies was arrested and in police custody over matters connected with the killing of 2 priests and 17 parishioners, and other related incidents of insecurity in the state.
Could you be benevolent enough, as one who intends to lead Benue people, clarify this issue and tell us why huge sums of money to the tune of 80 million was being given to such a personality, knowing fully well that as head of the livestock guard, the recipient wasn’t paying his officers from his pocket?
I and many others, I believe, would appreciate a response. Thank you.
Soneone who has Hon. Titus Zam as a Facebook friend should please tag him. God bless.
