Olugbenga a businessman based in lagos got an unexpected end result after his darling ran away with his ATM card and withdrew N1m from his financial balance.

It was learnt that the lady, Thelma Kimberly, who is situated in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, went by the man named Olugbenga at his home on Victoria Island, Lagos State, on May 17, 2018.

Our journalist learnt that the lovers went round the highbrow territory to have some good times before they returned home to ‘flavor up’ the experience on the bed.

The 45-year-old man apparently slept off after a few rounds of sex and Kimberly, 22, fled with his ATM card and a cell phone.

She was said to have made withdrawals, exchanges and shopping at a supermarket in Lekki using PoS.

Olugbenga detailed the case at the Ikoyi Police Division and Kimberly was found a month later.

A police source told our reporter that while the suspect was on the run, a request was sent to a bank she used to put a restriction for her.

“The man at that point sent N100,000 to her account as trap with a conviction that the bank would inform the police when she made endeavors to withdraw the cash.

“Be that as it may, she went ahead to withdraw the N100,000. She even snapped the police report sent to the bank and sent it to her lover on WhatsApp.

“The police had kept in touch with the bank questioning why the cash was paid to her notwithstanding the request. Inside and out, she withdew off N1m,” the source said.

The suspect, in her confession to the police, admitted to the wrongdoing, yet said she returned the telephone to the complainant through the owner of an eatery on Victoria Island.

She stated, “I met Olugbenga in 2016 in Port Harcourt when he went to see my foster dad, who is his friend. On May 17, around 8:00pm, I visited him in his house on Victoria Island. He took me out and we got a few things. We had intercourse a few times when we returned. He was drained and slept off.

“I ran out with his telephone and ATM card and I made withdrawals of N150,000 from the ATM in Obalende, Ikeja and VI. I went to a grocery store at Lekki Phase I and spent through N363,000. I paid through PoS.

“I likewise did transfers of N250, 000 to a few account. I gave a few people from the cash. I was simply spending it and can’t ascertain the amount I spent through and through.

The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Chike Oti, said the suspect had been summoned under the watchful eye of a Tinubu Magistrate’s Court.
