NLC drags Benue, other states owing salaries to international court

The Nigeria Labor Congress (NLC) has dragged state governors owing salaries pay rates to the International Labor Organization (ILO) in Geneva, Switzerland.

NLC president, Ayuba Wabba displayed an appeal to against the governors at the progressing 107th International Labor Conference (ILC) on Wednesday in Geneva, Switzerland, while talking on issues influencing Nigeria specialists.

As indicated by him, the protestation has been held up and it will be taken up by the board on Application of Standard where the issue will be alluded.

“NLC is right now occupied with tripartite the lowest pay permitted by law arrangement with the administration and we will remain everlastingly watchful to guarantee that the procedure is effectively closed. That is inside the stipulated timetable by the Federal Government of Nigeria. We should have the capacity to offer voice to specialists,” he said.

He included that some state governments were disregarding our national laws as well as declining to obey court orders with exemption.
