Ali Modu Sheriff has disclosed the announcement attributed to Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Boss Mustapha, on Nigeria having a President of Igbo extraction in 2023.

Remember that Mustapha had on Tuesday in Imo state, amid the South-East APC rally, said that 2019 will decide the political fate of the Igbo people and influence APC to help the them when the need emerges.

Sheriff, while talking more on the SGF’s announcement on Wednesday amid a visit to Umuahia, the Abia state capital, said for the Igbo to become Nigeria’s President in 2023 , the South-east zone is relied upon to offer President Buhari 6 million votes in the 2019 general election to empower him return for second term in office.

As indicated by the APC chieftain, “Igbo administration in 2023 might be dictated by what the general population of South-east zone will do in 2019. Igbo, if by chance that they want to lead this nation in 2019, they should create adequate votes, six million votes or more so they can state: yes, the ball is in our court, and other parts of Nigeria will bolster them. In any case, if they take the chance to do it, others will take it.”
