Innocent Umezulike a professor and former Enugu State Chief Judge, who was buuried a month ago, is on the list of 50 Nigerians restricted by the Federal Government from travelling abroad.
Umezulike, an eminent Professor of Land and Property Law, passed on in a London health center on June 26. He was prescribed for obligatory retirement by the National Judicial Council in 2016 after petitions against him by an Enugu-based legal advisor.
He was later hauled to High Courts in Enugu and Port Harcourt by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and his accounts frozen over a portion of the claims that achieved his constrained exit from the Bench.
Likewise on the rundown of those banned from going out of the nation under Executive Order 6 (EO6) issued yesterday by President Muhammadu Buhari are former National Security Adviser, Colonel Sambo Dasuki (rtd), 13 former governors and seven ex-clergymen.
